Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are asking all US Billionaires to donate half their wealth to form a massive $600 billion fund to help humanity.

I’m currently in the US on business and enjoying a short holiday.

I have just been reading with interest that Bill Gates and Warren Buffet, two of the world’s richest men have set a goal to raise $600 billion for a charity fund to better humanity.

They are asking all US billionaires to donate half of their wealth to the cause, either while they’re living or from their estates to achieve this massive target. This could potentially reshape the world of philanthropy.

They held a meeting with some of America’s richest earlier this year to propose their plan. Some of these billionaires included Oprah Winfrey and George Soros. Since the meeting was held, their plans are now well under way.

Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are great leaders in philanthropy. Together, they have donated significant amounts of wealth, close to $4 billion dollars a year to developing countries. The wealth has been distributed within these countries to important causes, particularly health.  They have helped fund the development of a sweet tasting Malaria tablet, to prevent the spread of Malaria in third world countries. Malaria is the cause of countless and unnecessary deaths everyday in these countries which can be prevented with the right education and funding.

Bill and Melinda Gates have donated over $20 billion dollars of their wealth to the Gates Foundation. Warren Buffet has also donated a staggering $30 billion dollars to the Gates Foundation to assist the charity in reaching their vision of improving the world. This is both commendable and admirable. Acts such as these should inspire others to not only become wealthier to assist in helping the greater good, but to become more charitable as well.

My personal belief is that money is a powerful tool to serve. I firmly believe in the idea of giving at least 10% of your income to charitable causes. For this reason I have recently decided to work towards turning 21st Century Education into a Non Profit Organisation with the goal of investing further proceeds into helping developing countries.

21st Century Education already runs the non profit Youth Summit seminars for teenagers. Now, with 21st Century’s 5 Year Membership program integrated into the organisation, it will assist in empowering others to develop an education for life. Through developing an education for life members’ wealth will potentially increase thus help assist in the ripple effect of helping others improve their lives in donating their time and money to causes and people who are less fortunate.

Personally I believe it is a moral obligation to help others with your wealth. I also think if you have the financial opportunity in a rich country like Australia to do well financially, it is a moral obligation to make an even greater positive difference.

A Change in Mindset.

One of the reasons I’m naturally motivated to expand my wealth is that I believe money is a powerful tool to serve.  By being in alignment with my purpose of making a difference in the world, I am naturally driven to become wealthier so as to serve the greater good. Helping others is also very fulfilling and creates momentum which in turn, leads to greater financial success.

I didn’t always feel this way about money. 15 years ago my beliefs about money weren’t so empowering. I previously had subconscious beliefs such as money is the root of all evil, money causes people to do bad things and that you have to be lucky to become rich.  I can even remember as a kid when we saw a nice Mercedes drive up the dirt road past our farm that we would say, “they are probably drug dealers or stole the next door neighbour’s cattle to have that”.

I’m sure you’ll agree that these are not healthy empowering beliefs about people who have money or money in general and are definitely not conducive to having a millionaire mindset.

15 years ago I realised I needed to consciously reprogram my mind around money.  It wasn’t until then that money started to flow more naturally into my life and I actually started to focus on my life’s work and purpose.

For the last 11 years via 21st Century Academy through my live seminars I have had the opportunity to share and take tens of thousands of others through the Mindset Process. This process includes how to change others inner beliefs around money, to assist them in discovering their true purpose and passion in life, aligning their money relationship with their purpose to eliminate any internal money conflict and constant self sabotage to create peace and harmony around money.

Have you ever had the frustrating experience of self sabotage or internal conflict around success and money?

If so, it is perfectly normal.

Why?

Our cultural hypnosis or social conditioning around money has been one of negative emotional attachments which have disempowered most westerners and Australians around money for generations. This is why so few achieve financial success unless they undergo some serious mindset surgery in regards to their conscious and subconscious beliefs about money.

Our society doesn’t condition a healthy money relationship, thus unless we go to work on ourselves and change our internal programming around money we tend in most cases to produce the financial results of most in society, which is well below their true potential.

Seeing what Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are doing with their wealth and using it as a tool to serve has only reinforced my recent decision to prepare my education company, 21st Century Education to be changed to a Non Profit Organisation.

My goal since its establishment has been to create an organisation to develop and provide a 21st century modern education for life. Applying for a non profit status as an organisation will boost the money that can go towards educating so many more people as well as expanding free education and learning for teenagers throughout Australia.

Jamie what you say is so true. I like the way you look for opportunities. When one door closes you always look for other avenues to achieve your goals and dreams. Many people in this world look for easy access to make money, but on the other hand you look for new ventures. You are a real entrepreneur. While recession has made many people poor you on the other hand has come out successfully in every area of your life. You are a true Champion. I believe in charity and you are a real role model in the area of charity and helping teenagers and middle class mum and dad to become financially imdependent.

    Dear Jamie,
what you have wrote up here doesn’t swim with me. I simply ain’t buying
it – no matter what the price is!
I also believe you should STOP ‘advertising’ these people, before you
investigate the REAL reasons for setting up this “charity fund to
    better humanity”.

All of this, Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are doing is a big joke and
people (including yourself) should WAKE UP!
This is a plain and simple diversion of peoples thoughts and opinions
what billionaires are really like (trying to help poor & unprivileged).
World is a big SCAM project! Those who are in charge of this project
use media (TV, Newspaper, Internet) as tool to sell their propaganda.

The only way to make sure one doesn’t get “scammed” is to investigate
the story they are trying to sell you.
For example, ask yourself (or research on Internet),
How much tax do charity funds pay? Well last time I checked
‘THEY DO NOT PAY ANY (ZERO TAX)!’
This is just some new, CHEEP way they (rich/wealthy) are using media
to score ‘brownie points’ with angry poor people who lost some or all
of their wealth during last 2 years ago.

Western/wealthy countries have been saving the world from poverty for
years. Yet there is more people living in poverty then anytime before.
And why is this? Well goggle it I am not here to brainwash you as the
mainstream media is. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH and make UP YOUR OWN opinion!

Just before I go any further, I would like to tell you that once I
was asked to take a pill. There were two – BLUE and RED. I choose RED
and now I see everything differently.

For example: When I am shown a curtain, I do not look/focus at it,
but seek to see what’s hidden behind it! I try to find out what is
the ‘aim’ of this message? What’s the real meaning to it?

Reading your book ‘what I didn’t learn at school but wish I had’, was
an eye opener. After reading it a friend asked me, ‘how much do you
really want to know’? He then showed me few videos. Most of them were
video explanation what was written in your book. I was then shown the
real picture of the world around us.
One may say its just some cheep ‘conspiracy theory’, but once you get
curious about it, you will investigate it further yourself and then
once you are exposed to the truth you get shocked with what you find
out (how deep does the rabbit hole go – Remember Matrix?)

Anyways mate, here is my e-mail address for you or if anyone else
wants to get in contact with me madison_1978@yahoo.com.au

    Take care
    and I hope you
‘wake up’ (project) = (clue = research it)!

Interesting reading Jamie & thanks for sharing. A great job being done by Bill Gates & Warren Buffett. Your goal is to do the same with 21st Century Education – Well done & CONGRATS!! Take care & looking forward to catching up next week in Q’town.

  5. Jamie, you are not alone in thinking money to be the root of all evil. The root of all evil is Lucifer. You are teaching others to have the right mindset about money. The book “Think and Grow Rich” is one of the best books a person can read and talks a lot about how powerful the subconsious is. It is there that the world we live of the old world attacks through education notably as we learn its way from when we are little through what we are taught and observe.
What Bill Gates, Warren Beatty and others are doing is going to empower people as long as what they do is for the right reasons which I believe will be right. I salute them for their concern as I salute you for yours.

To your success Jamie that one day you will be Prime Minister
